Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sign Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship & design, with the ability to produce and install high-quality signage that meets client specifications. As a Sign Maker, you will work with various materials and techniques to produce signs that are visually appealing and functional. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

Design and produce a variety of signs, including banners, vehicle graphics, and indoor/outdoor signage.
Operate sign-making equipment such as vinyl cutters, printers, and laminators.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations on design and materials.
Prepare surfaces for sign application by cleaning, sanding, or priming as needed.
Install signage at client locations while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in sign making and installation
Strong eye for detail, dependable and a strong work ethic
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for sign fabrication; able to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch
Familiarity with various materials used in sign production, including vinyl, wood, metal, and acrylic
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Must be able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during the production process
Comfortable working in various weather conditions during installations and ability to dig post holes; comfortable with using ladders and scaffolding
Knowledge of electrical components related to signage is preferred
Experience with vehicle and wall wrap installation is preferred
