About Us:

Blue Orbit Sign Studio is a leading provider of high-quality custom signage, specializing in design, fabrication, and installation. We work with a variety of materials and finishes to create eye-catching and durable signs for businesses, events, and more. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fabricator and Installer to join our team and bring our projects to life. Blue Orbit Sign Studio will provide extensive on the job training.

Job Responsibilities:

Fabrication:

Construct and assemble signs using materials such as metal, acrylic, wood, and plastic.
Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC routers, and other shop equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and design specifications.
Knowledge of electrical systems related to commercial signage, including channel letters, cabinet signs, monument signs, and LED retrofits.
Knowledge of LED power supplies, drivers, transformers, and troubleshooting methods.
Experience with low-voltage and line-voltage systems (120V-277V).
Ensure quality control and precision in sign construction.

Installation:

Install signs on-site, including wall-mounted, freestanding, illuminated signs.
Use bucket truck, ladders, lifts, and scaffolding to mount signs safely and securely.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot electrical failures in illuminated signage.
Knowledge of proper conduit installation and basic wiring methods.
Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and local codes.
Troubleshoot and repair signs as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience in sign fabrication and installations (preferred, but willing to train).
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights.
Welding and electrical experience (preferred, but willing to train).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
